Bilingual Intake Coordinator - Outpatient Clinician

About You

We are seeking a proactive, adaptable, and detail-oriented Intake Coordinator / Outpatient Clinician to report to our Clinical Operations Manager. You are passionate about mental health, adept at balancing client-facing responsibilities with operational tasks, and have a keen interest in the building of a mental health space. Your experience, skills, and approach will enable you to drive intake efficiencies and act as a systems administrator, allowing our clinicians to focus on their work: fostering healing and growth in our clients. You are someone looking to grow into a core member of the Family Spring leadership team.

Duties and Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Conduct approximately 15 intake assessments via phone (~20 minutes each) of incoming clients per week (for clinicians who will meet regularly with these incoming clients.
  • Complete chart setup in our electronic health record (EHR) system for new patients.
    Providing direct therapy for an average of 15 hours weekly, while maintaining all related clinical documentation.
  • Manage incoming inquiries on our clinical waitlist and be a point of contact for assigned referral streams (i.e., probation, etc.).
  • Weekly meetings with the COM, COO and/or CEO, as determined.
  • Attending and participating in clinical and administrative meetings, as determined.
  • Ensuring that our clinic remains a respectful, collaborative space for all co-workers.
  • Work a 40-hour work week M-F; at least two days/evenings per week in the San Rafael location.

Minimum Qualifications

As an individual, the following must describe you:

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, ability to conduct full intakes and therapy sessions in both languages.
  • Detailed-oriented, organized, and a proactive initiative-taker.
  • Flexible and adaptable: certain aspects of this role may require shifting of duties for certain periods of time (i.e., more phone assessments at the start, more clinical caseload after 90 days, etc.).
  • Solution-focused, problem solver.
  • Outside of the box thinking.
  • Growth mindset.
  • A love for therapy, learning, and helping people.

Relevant Experience:

  • A master’s or PhD/PsyD degree from a regionally accredited school.
  • An active, unrestricted California license (MFT, LCSW, LPCC, PhD, or PsyD) in good standing with the appropriate governing body (BBS or BOP) OR finished your degree, are registered as an AFMT, APCC, ASW, or Registered Psychologist with your respective board and are close to licensure.
  • A minimum of 2 years of direct services with adults and/or teens and their families (this can include practicum and internship experience).
  • Availability for a 40-hour work week, with flexibility for working two evenings per week and 2 days in-person.

Preferred Qualifications

  • An active, unrestricted California license (MFT, LCSW, LPCC, PhD, or PsyD) for at least 1 years
  • Advanced experience in an operational role in a mental health direct service clinic (more than 1 year).
  • Experience developing advanced healthcare/psychotherapy systems and workflows
  • An affinity for technology and its application in healthcare settings.

Compensation

  • Salary: $79,500 – $91,500 per year. Salary is commensurate with license type and relevant experience/training.
