My name is Jamelia Brown, and I am a Doctor of Social Work, certified substance use disorder counselor, and marriage and family therapy (MFT) Intern. With nearly 15 years dedicated to improving mental health in state prisons, juvenile halls, group homes, shelters, and various other human service settings, I offer my extensive expertise to serve you.  My credential as a Substance Use Disorder Counselor IV is with the California Association of DUI Treatment Programs (CADTP), and I’m also a Certified Anger Management Specialist, Certified Parent Educator, and Certified Shoplifting/Theft Prevention Specialist, equipping me with a blend of skills to address a broad spectrum of challenges proficiently and compassionately.
