I believe therapy should be a space where you can show up as your authentic self—without judgment, pressure, or having to have everything figured out. Life experiences, relationships, family dynamics, and past trauma can shape how we see ourselves and the world around us. My goal is to create a supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works primarily with adolescents ages 12 and older and adults. My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, trauma-informed, and client-centered. I recognize that every person brings a unique story, culture, family experience, and set of strengths into therapy, so treatment should never feel one-size-fits-all.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent more than 20 years working within the juvenile and adult justice systems, including extensive experience supporting youth and families impacted by trauma, exploitation, high-risk behaviors, and difficult life transitions. This background allows me to connect with clients who may not always feel comfortable opening up in traditional therapeutic settings.

My therapeutic approaches may include:

  • Trauma-Informed Therapy
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Solution-Focused Therapy
  • Strengths-Based Therapy
  • Client-Centered Therapy
  • Psychoeducation

Areas I enjoy working with include:

  • Adolescents and young adults
  • Anxiety and depression
  • Trauma
  • Self-esteem and identity
  • Family and relationship challenges
  • Life transitions
  • Stress and emotional regulation
  • Youth experiencing behavioral or social challenges
  • Healthy relationships, boundaries, and communication
  • Digital safety and the impact of social media and technology

I believe clients already possess strengths that can help them move forward. Therapy gives us an opportunity to uncover those strengths, develop new tools, understand patterns, and create changes that feel realistic and sustainable.

You don’t have to have all the answers before coming to therapy. We can start exactly where you are.
