Sasha Stahl, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of California (#134728)
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I strive to support people as they navigate life’s changes and challenges. Doing so alone is not easy, and I strongly believe everyone deserves a safe, containing space to work through what may be weighing heavy on their hearts and minds. I bring my full and authentic self to therapy, and I hope that you will feel comfortable to do so as well. I value a therapeutic space that is co-created, as you are the expert on your own experience, needs, and goals. I will aim to facilitate exploration, growth, curiosity, and self-reflection along the way.
- My approach to therapy is: Collaborative and client-centered: I partner with you in a therapy process that is guided by your pace, goals, and lived experience.
- Trauma-informed and systemic: I incorporate awareness of how trauma and social systems impact mental health and relationships.
- Relational and warm: I work to build a trusting therapeutic relationship that supports healing through connection and empathy.
- Culturally affirming: I prioritize inclusivity and respect for diverse identities, encouraging ongoing learning and humility in practice.
- Strengths-based and curious: I encourage growth, self-reflection, and discovery with compassion and gentle humor.
I have had the privilege of working with individuals, couples, and families experiencing a wide breadth and depth of challenges and stressors. At this time, I specialize in working with clients who are seeking compassionate support in the following areas:
- Anxiety, depression & stress management
- Trauma & PTSD
- Family & couples therapy
- Life transitions & self-exploration
- Culturally responsive care
- Relationship & attachment challenges
- Gender identity & sexuality
- Family dynamics
- Grief and loss
- Parenting support
I find that when we need help the most, it can feel like the hardest time to actually reach out for support — the research alone can feel daunting! I admire the strength and vulnerability it takes to initiate this process. If it sounds like we may be a good fit, I look forward to being in touch.
