Sonia Arreguin, LCSW

Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of California (#64023)

Many times, life can feel overwhelming, and we feel lost and “stuck.” As a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I am passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and empower them to live fulfilling lives. With a compassionate approach, I strive to create a safe and supportive space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences without judgment. I have worked in a variety of therapeutic settings including middle and high schools, family homes, and community-based organizations.

My past clients include adolescents and adults with depression, anxiety, and trauma; and adults navigating life changes such as divorce and empty nest syndrome. I have also worked with first-generation young adults navigating two cultures. I work with families with individuals who are struggling with different stressors, including:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Phase of life issues
  • Trauma

I believe in the strength and resilience of every individual and work collaboratively with clients to identify their strengths and build upon them to achieve their goals. Whether you’re seeking support for personal growth, healing from past traumas, or navigating life transitions, I am here to provide guidance, support, and encouragement every step of the way. Some ways I work therapeutically:

  • Creating a safe space nonjudgmental space
  • Normalizing experiences
  • Breathwork for anxiety
  • Mindfulness and gratitude practices
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
  • Person-Centered approach
  • Journaling
  • Culturally sensitive approaches

I look forward to the opportunity to support you on your journey toward greater self-discovery, healing, and personal growth.
