Welcome! Thank you for viewing my bio. It takes courage to seek help and open up to someone. However, that you are doing so represents a sign of resilience in you. I appreciate your trusting me and am willing to be a supportive part of your healing journey!

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, fluent in English and Mandarin. My academic experience helps me integrate research findings into practice. I have been providing counseling services to clients from various age groups and diverse cultural backgrounds since 2015 in different settings, such as a university counseling clinic and a community mental health agency.

I work with adults who are struggling with different issues, including:

My style is collaborative and genuine. I value teamwork and feedback from my clients. Therefore, I often encourage my clients to provide feedback to me so we can work as a team to reach their goals. I strive to support my clients in processing hard emotions and past trauma while developing strategies to cope with present struggles. My therapeutic approach and skills are rooted in the following theories and approaches:

  • Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP)
  • Attachment Theory
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • EMDR
  • Person-Centered Therapy
  • Somatic Therapy

I understand that having mental health concerns could make people feel stuck and confused, but you don’t have to fight alone. My desire is to create a safe and non-judgmental space and to see and connect with you. I look forward to meeting with you and learning how I can best support you through your healing journey.
